About Me

I believe that open communication is the key to successful results and client satisfaction. The information

I gather from listening carefully to each client’s  wish list is the motivating force behind every real estate transaction. In the words of recent clients, “Kathie’s diligence and attention to detail was just  what we were looking for.” I am committed to providing my clients with enthusiastic, thorough, innovative, and professional representation.

Born in San Jose, I grew up in the South Bay then moved to Berkeley over thirty years ago. I know East Bay communities and neighborhoods from my personal experience, professional and community involvement. I was honored by my peers in 2010 by being elected Realtor of the Year.

I have served on the boards of the East Bay French American School, The College Preparatory School Parents Association, and The Pacific Mozart Ensemble. While serving as the President of the Board and the Executive Director of the Ensemble, I helped produce concerts throughout the Bay Area. Among other performance experiences, the chorus had the pleasure of performing with Dave Brubeck’s quartet, with Meredith Monk in her Carnegie Hall anniversary celebration, and with Kent Nagano in Berlin. The Berlin performance recording of Leonard Bernstein’s Mass directed by Maestro Nagano received a Grammy nomination in 2006 for Best Choral Performance. I am currently on the Board of Directors of the Oakland/Berkeley Association of REALTORS.

The visual arts, music, and design have always been a creative focus for me. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from Stanford University. The study  of residential architecture and the work of Bay Area architects is an on-going interest and pursuit. It is a continuing pleasure that my professional career  and my personal interests are such a compliment each to the other.
